What keeps a dispatch running, and your data yours.
The controls below are built into SK Fleet today. We list what is verified and say plainly what is not yet documented, so you can take this page to your own security review.
Hosted where your business lives.
In the UAE. Data is processed and stored in a UAE region, with role-based access and an audit trail.
- Every query is scoped to your organisation by PostgreSQL row-level security, enforced by the database itself
- Sign-in through the Softknack platform with RS256-signed tokens; roles and permission ceilings per user
- Erasure requests under GDPR and DPDP cascade across passenger records, trips and location pings
Roles that match a transport office.
Dispatchers, cashiers, owners and chauffeurs each see what their role allows. Discount overrides are governed by role ceilings, and document access follows the same rules.
- Role-based access with platform-level ceilings
- Chauffeur app scoped to the chauffeur's own duties, custody and wallet
- Partner credentials isolated per partner
Nothing is silently changed.
Money lives in append-only ledgers where a correction is a visible reversal. Compliance snapshots are stamped at booking and never recomputed. An activity stream projects every ledger in real time for owners and auditors.
- Append-only accounting with explicit reversal entries
- Immutable regulatory snapshots on every booking
- Records deactivated, never hard-deleted
- Every override records who and why
Built for a 6 am airport run with no signal.
The chauffeur app keeps working in a basement car park: every event is queued with its timestamp and synced when the connection returns. Customer and partner tracking links are decoupled from the telemetry feed, so a position gap never breaks the link. Every mutating request carries an idempotency key, so a retried request never creates a second booking.
- Offline queue in the driver app, ordered sync on reconnect
- Tracking links independent of live telemetry
- Idempotency keys on every write
- Webhook delivery with retry, backoff and dead-letter protection
Export at any time, monthly billing, no lock-in.
Sixteen reports download as CSV. The API exposes your records with the same conventions across every Softknack product. If you leave, you take your data with you.
- 16 CSV reports across money, operations, people, cash, fleet and compliance
- REST API and webhooks per product
- Monthly billing; cancel and export at any time
Implementation and support.
Going live
Most fleets load vehicles, chauffeurs and rate cards in the first week and run dispatch in parallel with the old system for a few days before switching. Partner feeds are connected on the demo or in week one.
Support
WhatsApp on +91 89258 78162, Monday to Saturday 9am to 7pm IST, and support@softknack.com for existing customers. Escalation paths and response targets are written into your agreement.
Security questions
Send your questionnaire to privacy@softknack.com. We answer from the controls on this page and say where something is not yet in place.
What we do not claim yet
We do not publish certifications, uptime guarantees or penetration-test results until they are documented and supported. If your procurement needs them, ask on the demo and we will tell you the current status rather than a promise.
Where your data sits for UAE operators
Hosting, tax records and the paperwork that keeps a fleet licensed, as they apply in the UAE.
Access is role-based and every change is written to an audit trail.
Tax invoices and receipts carry your VAT line, in AED.
Flagged before they expire, with a regulatory snapshot stamped on every trip.
Send security questions here. Demos are booked in Gulf Standard Time (GST, UTC+4).
