A calendar that physically can't double-book.
Per-stylist columns, chairs, basins and rooms as resources, prep and clean-up buffers reserved with the service, and a waitlist that fills a freed slot before the desk has noticed it.
Front desks save the most time in week one.
From a paper diary to a day sheet that argues back.
Today
- Appointments in a diary, a WhatsApp group and the receptionist's head
- Two clients written into the same chair at five o'clock
- Colour booked for two hours; the chair sits empty while it develops
- A cancellation at 16:12 that nobody fills
With SK Salon
- Every booking, from every source, on one grid
- Overlaps refused by the database, not just warned
- Colour in segments: chair released while it develops
- Freed slot offered to the waitlist in call order within minutes
Overlaps are refused. Short slots are explained.
A stylist cannot hold two overlapping appointments, full stop; the database itself rejects it. A slot a few minutes short, or a stylist other than the client's preference, is allowed only when the desk says so, and the confirm is logged with their name.
- Hard refusal: overlapping bookings for one resource
- Explicit confirm: slot short, different stylist, outside hours
- Every confirm recorded with who and why
Your menu, your durations. The day re-packs itself.
Set each service's duration, prep and clean-up in one config drawer. Change a duration and the grid re-packs instantly. Colour is booked in segments, so the chair is released while it develops and the stylist takes a cut in between.
- Per-service duration, prep and clean-up buffers
- 15- or 30-minute grid, opening hours per outlet
- Colour segments: apply, develop (chair free), finish
A cancellation becomes the next booking, already ringing.
When an appointment cancels, the freed slot is scored against every waiting caller: does their window contain the time, does the service fit, does the stylist preference match? The first match is offered, by the desk or by the receptionist, up to the cap you set.
- Window fit with configurable slack, stylist preference respected
- Offers in call order, up to a max-offers cap per slot
- Every offer and outcome in an append-only log
Book anyone in three clicks, or drag them in.
Search a client by name or phone across the calendar, the waitlist and your client records. Pick a service, pick an open slot, done. Or drag a waitlist card straight onto an open chair. Repeat clients are recognised by number, with their stylist and formula ready.
- Unified search: booked, waitlisted, or from client records
- Availability shows exact fit: FITS or minutes short
- Drag and drop on desktop and touch alike
The invariants your day sheet runs on.
Written into the system, not into a training manual. They are the reason "we're full" always means full.
Not warned. Refused. A chair, a room or a stylist has one place to be.
Prep and clean-up are reserved when the service is booked, never squeezed out by the next one.
The desk says yes, and the record keeps their name.
A cancellation, a move or a correction is a new, visible event in the log.
The menu price on the card is what checkout starts from; add-ons are visible lines.
Any outlet can redeem it; two outlets can never both redeem the last visit.
